This serial takes us inside the lives of the residents of Rowland's Park,
a small community which, like all small communities, has its many small
secrets to hide.
A New Face At Number Five - So this was Rowland's Park. It was quite impressive and seemed to enjoy its superior position ... managing to look down its nose on other nearby properties.
Doug from Number Six - When Doug left to go to the gym, he'd noticed the little saloon car parked next to his MG.
Jessica From Number Three - The little red saloon drew to a standstill in the small but neat car park.
Number Four Rowland's Park - Dear old Doris Penney wasn't that old at all.
Jan And Nick...Flat One - If ever there was a thoroughly modern couple, it was the Parkers. They had been married for six years...but there, convention stopped. Jan Barker refused to do anything that might be seen as conforming, she was thirty years of age and was in total control of her destiny.
The Jurys Of Number Two - Kay Jury looked around at the disaster that was usually her living room. Tansy, her two year old was having a sleep and looking cherubic into the bargain.
Party Time - Every so often, the residents of Rowland's Park had a get-together. It was usually Doug who did the arranging, and no one was ever left out.
Finale...Wedding Bells
- It was now early October and so much had transpired at Rowland's Park since the party in June. Doris's feet had hardly touched the ground since she had become engaged to Henry and today was the long waited for wedding.
