Is it possible to save someone's life just by being good? This story
tells the tale of how Missy ultimately found the answer.
To do good deeds - Missy could see Caleb's irritated look the minute she entered the house. He was rocking their son in front of the Christmas tree, as he gently tapped the bottom of his diaper. Corey liked that, for some reason.
My son has been kidnapped. - Missy fluffed the pillow on the spare guest bed before turning back to Joselyn. Once she'd washed her hair and face, a surprisingly attractive woman was revealed. She was probably in her late thirties, at least a decade younger than Missy had thought.
No good deed goes unpunished - As soon as they arrived at the church, Missy burst from the front seat of the sedan. She heard Detective Johnson shouting behind her, but she ignored him. One of the patrolman came rushing at her, but Missy turned at the last moment, sending them both sliding on the slippery sidewalk. She recovered her balance even as the officer went down with a sharp crack of flesh against ice.
