Back to Basics for Women
a serial by Cynthia McCaffrey

After the surprising success of Back To Basics, author McCaffrey decided to turn the tables and offer the same kinds of advice aimed particularly at women.

Back to Basics For Women -- Part 1 - Hello ladies! I have just finished Back To Basic's For Men. . It's simply a short self-help book I have written for men. In it are a few tips I felt the men of the world could use. Now I will continue on with one for us gals.

Stop The World I Want To Get Off! - As I mentioned in the intro to this book. I want to make this as simple and straight forward as possible. Not because I think women are simple. The opposite is true actually. I know what cunning little creatures we women really are. I simply mean, we all have enough input coming at us from all directions. Who the heck needs any more? So I have tried to simplify things as much as possible.

Frustration Really Sucks! - I think I'm settling. To me settling is a dirty word in a relationship. I see too much of it going on. Every time I look at one of my friends or family and think they are just settling because it's easier. There's too much of this going on. It makes me feel really bad for them.

Self-gratification and You! - Hello ladies and welcome back! I'm sorry for leaving you kind of hanging around in my last chapter. I am afraid even I get tired of going on and on. I finally came to the conclusion splitting this subject into two categories was a good idea. I may be wrong but I thought it would simplify things rather than making one very long chapter. Besides I feel strongly enough about the issues I deal with in this book that I think some of them deserve two chapters. Self-gratification is one of these subjects.

Beauty & The Beasties! - I hinted at some little tid bits about men in my last chapter. I wasn't stringing you along I really do have a few interesting things to dwell on. The male of the species is an amazing creature. He comes along with a whole bunch of individual rules and little quirks. But this is not to say we females don't have a few of our own. Don't kid yourself. I will be coming back to us later. In the meantime lets see if we can make sense out of how our counterparts work and think and why they are the way they are.

Hitting The Nail On The Head! - Have you ever seen the 'I Love Lucy' episode when Ricky thinks he has forgotten an anniversary? So he goes into his emergency gift stash and brings out a gift for Lucy? Well it turned out he hadn't forgotten the date and Lucy was on to the fact he had gifts hidden around just in case he forgot.

Who Are You and Why? - I'll bet there's a time in every adult female's life that she finds herself wondering who she is and what the hell does she want out of life. But if you really want to find out who you are then you have to be willing to learn why you are and how you came to be this person. Sounds complicated but it really isn't. Follow along with me and I will try to explain.

Me, Myself and I! - I thought perhaps I should properly introduce myself. I think it may help put a few things in perspective for you. It occurred to me that it might seem odd getting advice from a woman that is unknown to you. The question of who I am and what makes me think I can give advice comes to mind I'm sure.

The Anger With-In! - Hello again! In my last chapter I left you with a promise on how to deal with anger. That anger that surfaces for no real apparent reason and sometimes can darn near eat you up inside.

A Wish List!! - I wish every man in this world could be a woman for one week. I don't think a day could cover all of it. Perhaps they would come away with a little bit of insight as to how we tick. I'm not saying men don't have a clue but sometimes it isn't entirely their fault if they don't.
