Back To Basic's For Women!
Hello ladies! I have just finished Back To Basic's For Men. . It's simply a short self-help book I have written for men. In it are a few tips I felt the men of the world could use. Now I will continue on with one for us gals.
The book you have in your hot little hand is my attempt at the equivalent for the women of this world. I'm not saying you need tips but what the hell; it can't hurt, right? Beside we don't want the men to think we're just singling them out.
I know there are a lot of issues we as women would really like to be able to deal with. If we were given the right tools. Some issues we wish would just go away.
There are those who, if they wanted to take the time to analyze this, would say I am trying to fill in a void in my life. They would perhaps be correct. But most of all I feel it's important to know we are not alone in our troubles. It just feels that way at times.
I am a firm believer that if we started to share our knowledge we would be able to understand and deal with a lot of things much easier. But to some degree we all hate sharing. I'm convinced we think that by sharing we are giving up our power some how. We all know how much we enjoy control. Therefore we don't want to give up what we know about life.
I think if you were to look at sharing like using a tool to be used to gain more info, you would far more willing to share your wisdom. I have a little quirk that my poor mate has to live with. I refuse to let a day go by without acknowledging some new thing I learnt that day. It's drives him nuts (which may be why I do it) but he has started to search out more new things for himself. This really pleases me.
I would also like it to be known all of the opinions I write are just that my opinions! My opinions and mine alone. You can take it all with a grain of salt but I sincerely would like to think some little bit of this will find it's way home with you.
I would now like to introduce you to me. I have said it before, I have at one time or other in my life been a wife, lover, girlfriend, mistress or prostitute to some man. I am neither ashamed nor proud of any of these facts. They are just the facts. I do however feel that since I have lived in a manly male dominant world and I have been paying attention this may have given me a wee bit of insight to the ever-mysterious ways of the male humanoid. (Trust me gals you wouldn't believe what goes on in their world when they think we aren't looking)
I want to share some of this insight with you and perhaps take a look at what is going on in your world. Let's face it ladies, we aren't in the same world our mothers grew up in. Maybe we had better try revising some of our out-looks.
Women for the last twenty years have been running around hot and heavy looking for the perfect existence. Some how woman's lib hasn't done it for us, not completely. Some of us even managed to come away from the lib movement even more confused than we were in the first place.
We all want equality. That's has always been well known. As far back as you care to go there was women pulling some of the strings in this world. Some of them even had extreme amounts of power. Queens, tribal medicine women, pirates you name it we have been there. Even when the men didn't realize we were.
We are strong proud and stubborn. Some of us are afraid to live or do, as we need for our lives to be complete. Some of us are just unsure of what we are here for. But we are here and we have power that much we are all aware of.
When I say we mean we as the female of the species. I can't testify that men realize what we have always been up to. I will never say men aren't as smart as women. I will say however, as a whole women make for a very interesting and hard to beat force in what ever we try to achieve.
This isn't something new it's simply the way we are. I have yet to meet a woman who isn't aware of her power. Some of us aren't really using it to the best of our abilities. We haven't figured out how to get what we want with what we have yet.
Remember I'm talking about some women, not all. I watch some of the women I know, friends and family, and I know most of them don't get it. I see a lot of them struggling through life when it shouldn't be a struggle. All we need is shared knowledge. And there is where we are coming to some of our problems.
Women don't want to share; most of us don't any way. We don't want to share our feelings our sexual appetites our needs or any other damn thing you may imagine. Because we fear losing our power.
Yet if we could learn to share we would only be increasing our knowledge and therefore our power. It's kind of the catch twenty-two of life. You have to give something to get anywhere in this world.
My aim for this short book is to share will all women who care to read it. I want to share some of my off the wall ideas about men and how to deal with them.
I would also like to take privilege and say I think I can be of a little help when it comes to seeing men in the perspective they need to be seen in. When I began my journey to writer's land it was a very pleasant trip. I enjoyed at times a lifestyle of being dotted on by men. It wasn't that I had any thing special to offer it was that I was a rare species in their world. Most women were smart enough to have no desire to be where I was.
I enjoyed and thrived on the special treatment for awhile and then reality started to step in. There were times I couldn't believe what I was seeing or hearing. They have a place all their own these men of the world. As I said I can say this is for sure.
I want to share these things with you and see if we can't find some solutions to some of those questions you must have about men. I am ashamed to admit I have poked a little fun at the poor souls every once in a while in this too. I can't help it they just seem to leave a lot of room at times.
On the serious side I want to deal with us as women, as people as we are meant to be. There are some issues we need to deal with. We are as bad if not worse than the men for shutting away our need and our feelings. I believe that as with the men we are all casualties of our environment. But there is always hope.
We all need to be kinder to ourselves and much more open about how we feel. For I believe if we want to we can all be more well rounded individuals, if we learn how to achieve this point. Yet we shouldn't have to give up what we are now. It's just a question of trying to fit all the pieces together like a jigsaw. And I believe we can achieve this if we want. Remember that is just my opinion!
I fear for women today. I see all of us running as hard as we can, to get we aren't sure where. I am one of these women at times. I gave up a lot of my health because I was running so hard trying to keep up. I have met a lot of women who, just like me, have given up so much. Forgetting to take care of us. We trade in personal health issues for what we believe are more important things.
These issues and a few more will be coming up in this book from time to time. They are very important to me and I hope to you also. We have to somehow learn to be willing to deal with these things. By the way ladies your mental health counts too. We all know how crazy they can make us at times.
I will be dealing for the most part with the simple issues that haunt men and women in relationships. All the sweet little things we deal with day by day. And I will be throwing in a few of my ever-famous helpful hints to try to help you make it a wee bit smoother sailing.
There are a few things going on with women that I simply don't understand. I hope by asking the questions in writing, maybe I can figure some of them out for myself.
Basically I would like to see a way to simplify our lives at a time when the world is becoming a very complicated place to live in. As I have said many times before I don't know if any of this will help but what the hell I don't think it can hurt.
So I hope you feel comfortable in joining me in this latest adventure of mine. And I sincerely hope the following chapters will be of some help to some of you.
