My Final Piece Of Advice
I had so many things I wanted to say. So many little bits and
pieces of advice I had intended to pass on to you before I had to say goodbye. However
our time together has come to an end, and I find I must say farewell to
storiesbyemail.com and carry on by myself. Its funny how attached we humans can
become to things. Writing this column has become a very large part of my life. I
have loved hearing from all of you; some of your e-mails have really made my
day, and some have literally made me cry. This has been one of those experiences
I wouldn’t have missed for anything.
Sadly as with all good things, this too must come to an end.
Our publisher, Walt (the sweetest man, next to my mate, in the world) is unable
to continue with storiesbyemail.com. I
see this as fate's way of telling me to be brave and go out there by myself, but
I honestly don’t know enough about computers to do so. However I do have a
dear friend, Prof. Taltos who is opening up a web site and has been kind enough
to invite me to run my column with him. After some delay I have decided this
would be a great opportunity for me, so I have accepted his kind offer.
So my friends I want to invite you to join me at the Prof.’s
school of thought. You will find us at, http://memebers.shaw.ca/cmccaffrey1
. You may also e-mail me at proftaltos@yahoo.ca
I really hope to hear from all of
you. Please keep in mind the site is under construction, and we have a few
things to iron out before it’s up to full speed. Hopefully you find your way
around okay.
So for now my dear readers this is my final message to you from
this site. I send a wish out to any who read this. Be as kind as you can to each
other. As a wise man once told me, ‘patience, tolerance, never be
judgmental’; if you can live by these rules you’ll do just fine.
My best wishes go out to all of you.
I remain as always your Aunt Cynthia
