As you may know by now, Stories by Email is coming to an end which is sad for all of us: the writers, readers and our dedicated editor, Walter
Thiessen. I know we have all appreciated this ezine in our lives and the gifts it has bestowed through inspiration, entertainment, relaxation and as an avenue of creative expression. My personal thanks to the other writers, the readers and Walt.
Endings in life possess blessings if we will but see them in this perspective. It is universal law that all endings are the beginnings of something else. We may mourn our loss to greater or lesser degrees so that we honor the feelings that come up throughout these transitions, and it's equally important to see that this is only one phase of an ending. The cycle of living persists and after the period of mourning new life will be born just as the seed dies before it bursts through the soil with new growth. There is no death. Energy cannot be destroyed; it can only be transformed. Einstein (and many others) proved this theory.
