Libra: The sign of the Scales is just as fastidious with the domestic routines as it is in other arenas. The Venusian influence of this energy pattern comes into full expression in the objects, arrangement and structure of the home life of the individuals born into Libra. The color tones will likely be muted, harmonious and pleasing; the arrangement of furniture, appliances and accessories will be efficient and well balanced; the overall feel of the home will be orderly and calm. Libra flits around speedily with ease and grace through alphabetized files, indexed recipe cards and due to these efficient systems rarely forgets a birthday or anniversary. Be careful not to disturb the even flow or tip the scales or your calm Libra may surprise you with his or her direct chastisement.
Scorpio: Mars at home is not for the weak at heart - nothing Scorpio does is for the weak at anything. The extremity of temperament and taste is well displayed in Scorp's sanctuary and it is in these homes you may find
eclectic and/or suggestive artworks, distinct musical tastes, provocative literature and no apologies for any of it. You can take it or leave it; it won't make a lick of difference to this fixed sign. The creative qualities of the sign bestow culinary talents that may surprise some folks (not astrologers) and certain romantic projects demonstrate this flair also. A Scorpio's home will be a blend of soothing and disturbing energies; much like the individual who lives there.
Sagittarius: Most Sag's don't spend a great deal of time at home - just enough time to feed the slew of critters, whip up some food, change the tasteful selection of clothes and run back off into the world on the next adventure. A Sag's home is interesting, interactive and open to anyone who happens to be in the neighborhood. Despite some contrary appearances, this energy pattern has meticulous taste and appreciates fine quality. They aren't real fussy until you mishandle something which is ironically what they spend a great deal of the time doing.
Capricorn: This sign also has impeccable taste and you will be expected to observe proper decorum when in their home; remember, no frivolity. Orderly, functional and designed to impress the affluent aspirations of the sign, Cappy's home is rarely a shambles and is always ready for entertaining (unlike the rest of us who have to prepare). Earth signs are quite fond of their earthly treasures and nowhere is this more evident than here. Security driven and goal oriented, Capricorn at home is relaxed, but it's often hard to tell since their basic nature is a bit rigid. Gracious, but stern their homes are the ones who increase the value of neighborhoods.
Aquarius: Casual, comfortable, simple and unique are the signature qualities in the home of the Water Bearer. The uniqueness may not be immediately apparent, but it's there, take my word for it. Nothing overdone and everything designed for convenience with character. For example, I know of one such Aquarian who refuses to use any appliance with electric blades (salad shooters, can openers, food processors, etc.) for the simple reason that there's more items to clean up and handling them to clean is dangerous. Aquarius doesn't devote a lot of energy to cleanliness; only what's necessary to keep things at a reasonable standard. Aquarius believes there's far more important tasks in life than dusting or cleaning toilet bowls.
Pisces: Creativity over cleanliness and comfort over appearances is the motto in this home. What this sign may lack in organizational skills they more than make up for in eccentricity and consider it an even trade. Pisces doesn't pretend to keep up with the Joneses and anything the Joneses acquired they may well have been given by the good heart of their Piscean neighbor. Pisces seldom "owns" because it's a value structure that doesn't occur to them. Caring for others, indulging in a few mild luxuries themselves and rowing their boat gently down the stream is the emphasis for this energy pattern. There can be some elaborate decorations for the holidays, good food almost constantly available, but the details of domestic chores fail to peak this sign's interest too much.
