Communicating with Libra: I call my Libran co-worker the Border Collie of the office; if there is a job to be done, Libra will tackle it in an effortless demonstration of grace under pressure. You can talk to Libra about almost anything and the level of engagement will be substantial, fulfilling and lively. Libra relates easily to a broad spectrum of individuals and rarely gives the impression of pretentiousness or judgment. Their equalizing scales remain balanced until there is an unexpected, disruptive presence in their flow whether it's an obtrusive personality or simply a dissonant sound; anything that Libra views as a disharmonious quality to the moment. When this happens it is generally a good rule of thumb to offer assistance in re-establishing their equilibrium; flying solo is not their preferred mode of travel through this life.

Communicating with Scorpio: Consider yourself the squirming insect under this sign's microscope. They are taking everything in and miss surprisingly little. The keyword, I CREATE, is not a quality that is apparent on the surface of most Scorpios; but this in itself is a trademark quality - what you see is not what you get. The facade of Scorpio is the proverbial tip of the iceberg and never underestimate what may lie underneath those placid waters. Scorpio possesses an almost unquenchable hunger for extreme ranges in human experiences; hot or cold; black or white; life or death. They like to take things to the edge...the real edge...the edge most of us never come anywhere close to. Scorpio thrives on this intense thrill. It is the endorphin of their being. During a conversation with Scorpio, you would not know this and that's the way they like it: mysterious and in control.

Communicating with Sagittarius: Picture a three-ring circus: three exciting, animated events all happening at the same time and you can't decide which display you enjoy the most. This is what it's like to talk with a Sag. If you mentally time out for a moment, you will surely miss something. Sag is what I would describe as the communicative juggler of the zodiac - anything less than three balls in the air at a time for this sign is a Sag with an underachiever streak in him or her. Keep the pace quick and the subject interesting and they might stop for a listen; bore them and they're off without a hint of concern whether you're keeping up or not. I recommend keeping up - the adventures this sign pursues are not found elsewhere.

Communicating with Capricorn: Don't get jovial unless you get written permission - notarized. This is not the most light-hearted of signs so don't take it personally if your cheery spirit doesn't move Cappy off his gloom and doom rock. Saturn is a stern taskmaster and the vibrations from this planet are well within Capricorn's capacity to comprehend and process, but tend to leave the rest of us wondering what the big deal is about. It just is to Capricorn. Life is a big deal. Perhaps this serious incarnation is a much needed reprieve after an all consuming, energetic life as a Sag...who knows? This is not a theory, just idle musings. Almost all conversations with any gender of this sign will vaguely hint of talks with your Dad. Capricorn rules fathers. Stern, disciplinarians, level-headed, structure oriented and goal driven and if the subject matter doesn't meet this criteria, don't bother Capricorn. You will flatly be denied admittance into the den of his or her activities.

Communicating with Aquarius: Talking to a Water Bearer makes you feel as if what you're saying is the most important information he or she has heard all day; what they don't reveal is that they make the postman, grocer, boss and lover feel exactly the same way. It's the effect of universal love this sign emanates. Naturally curious, Aquarius is intrigued by almost any subject matter and can talk for hours about something that up to that point they'd never even heard of. This sign is always 50 years ahead of everyone so it's not surprising that they can learn at light speed. Be relatively prepared for the unexpected influences that Uranus imparts on this sign so change can come quickly and with a rapidity that even Aquarius doesn't see, but can adjust to nonetheless a bit easier than most energy patterns. Appeal to Aquarius' sense of social justice and altruism and you'll have an inventive friend in your corner. Demonstrate the aforementioned antithesis and you can expect to be summarily challenged regardless of your station in life. Aquarius doesn't bother much about propriety and considers everyone equal so essentially, in the final analysis, their friend.

Communicating with Pisces: Even God saved the best for last. Neptune is one tricky planet to decipher and those under its influence don't seem to have any more clues than those of us simply trying to navigate through their murky communicative waters. They do allow themselves to go with the flow more smoothly than the rest of us and for this we must appreciate the peace they present with each encounter. Anyone who can get mad, stay mad or get even with Pisces is one cold cookie. This is an energy pattern that exists solely for the purpose of ensuring that we are all loved in this life. As long as you possess one Neptunian soul in your world, know that you will never be alone and you can count on this person for anything. Please refrain from counting on him or her too often...they will let you and never tell you. I have a Piscean friend who never ceases to amaze me at her ability to add a useless yet entertaining component to a situation that I had not considered. Pisces doesn't exactly fill in the missing piece to a puzzle the way it's opposite, Virgo, does, but they have an unfailing and ridiculously charming propensity to befuddle you right out of your quagmire. It's quite magical. And so is Pisces. Never expect a straight answer. My mother is a Pisces with Gemini rising (a minimum of four personalities in any given moment) and it is standard operating procedure to consult the Alice-to-English Dictionary during all conversations. And just because Pisces hasn't spoken, don't believe for a minute they had nothing to say. Good luck trying to extract it. Fish are notoriously slippery and this in a nutshell is what it's like talking to them.
